Don't know if too obvious, but decided to post anyway. Don't know if he is doing any of it either... http://hardwoodhoudini.com/2012/11/28/5-ways-royce-white-can-save-his-nba-career/
In my eyes the damage is don't Royce can't with the Rockets. This rookie tries to beat the system HAHAHA good luck with that. Oh yeah if I was in the NBA and I had anxiety believe me my ass WILL be on that plane ot would be an honor to play in the NBA
6. Close his Twitter account. At this point I think it's best if Royce and the Rockets parted ways. The 5 ways listed are only possible if he's willing to cooperate, but all signs point to the contrary. He can't expect to not show up to practice/games and still be handed a spot in the rotation.
And on top of those 5 points, he still has to prove he can play at the NBA level. the clock is ticking on that last, most-important, point.
Man you guys give up on players fast. News flash: he has issues that will take some time to get resolved.
If you can name a single player in the history of the league who has ever pulled anything similar to this, much less without ever having set foot on an NBA court, do feel free to share. And if, by chance, you do happen to find someone meeting the criteria, I'd love to see how his career panned out.
I was all for Royce White, believe me. I supported the guy and respected his mental disorder. ..That was before I started reading his tweets. The "man" is clearly a fool, his tweets are very immature and "all about me", not to mention he has called out the Rockets organization on multiple occasions. He was throwing a fit because he didn't want to play in the D-League, and tried to use his anxiety as a crutch. Then tweets out how bad the Rockets are treating him for fining him. He has missed training camp, practices, again he refused to attend his D-League obligations, and this is all after multiple arrangements to help him that were made for him BY the Rockets organization. My aunt has severe anxiety problems and chronic panic attacks. But guess what? She forces through it to support her family because that's what she has to do. And this guy can't even go to freakin' practices because he doesn't like his therapist..
Sorry I must have missed his NBA games, how did his elite talent skillet play out against real NBA talent?
He can resolve his issues when he eventually gets cut. He's been nothing but a sideshow his entire NBA "career."
Trade him to a team that will give him playing time, like the Wizards, Bobcats, or Spurs (during nationally televised games).
