4th and 12, down by 4 with a 1:32 left and you PUNT??!!

God, what a truly asinine decision that Mark Richt makes in the Music City Bowl.

His team is losing 20-16 and there is 1:32 left to go in the game. His team is at the BC 47 to 49 yard-line.

The game is on the line; what will Georgia do?

Would you believe punt? When I saw the punt team go out for Georgia, I started laughing. I could not believe that he would do this.

Of course, Georgia only had 2 timeouts left instead of 3 & of course, they were unable to block the punt. Of course, they got the ball back but had no timeouts left and were at their 45 yard-line with 14 seconds left. Of course, their QB, Greene, gets sacked to end the game. Of course, they lose the game.

Which, IMO, was fitting after such a stupid call. That's twice Mark Richt has done that. At the end of the Auburn game, the bonehead calls for a run into the middle of the line with 9 seconds left and no timeouts. Guess what? Georgia got stuffed and time ran out before they could run another play...Dawgs lose 24-17.

I'm still in shock over this call.
