I hope there's no problem with the kidney. Basketball reasons aside TJ seems like a solid human being and it must suck to be sidetracked so many times by injury.

Damn I'm still pissed he got hurt again, smh.

Hopefully he can be back in a few games, he and Dwight work well together.

Even if it's broken he should be better in a couple of weeks as long as he does not take another direct shot on that part of the cage. He will be probably be back in 3 total weeks, then pain shot and padding and he can play.

Presuming no lung problems or multiple fractures.

    Next man up!

Hope that Papa has recovered enough to play again. And in a week or so, Dwight will be back

Yep, that's the real rub. Normal rib injury is not a long-term issue, whether it's a break or bruise or crack. But there's still a lot that can go wrong and I'm definitely on edge hearing about overnight hospital stays.

Hopefully this evens out his karma after kicking a homeless man in the ribs. Or where ever that kick landed.

    Well, that sounds awful.

This, folks, is why superstars don't dive for the ball on the floor among a crowd.

This is absolutely terrible. The hit didn't even seem that bad.

Get well soon TJones, we need you!

That's your opinion both players plays good next to Howard. In my opinion Jones plays slightly better.

Good points, thanks. I'm just thinking one or two of the bottom five or so teams are going to go on a year-end tear. Fingers crossed!

This sucks for the team right now with Dwight still being out a couple more games.

If its a cracked rib/s, its painful as hell, and it feels like you want to die, but the good news is you ribs heal faster than any bone in your body. I cracked 4 ribs (2 in the back/2 in the front) surfing one time, and after 3 miserable weeks I magically bounced back after taking an Oyster shell supplement for a few weeks to boost my calcium.

Point being... if it is cracked ribs, I wouldn't expect it to hold him out that long. Maybe a few weeks. Hopefully its nothing serious like an internal organ or something, but given the nature of the injury, it would seem pretty unlikely and they are probably just taking precautions. Putting him on a morphine drip the first couple days isn't a bad idea either. its going to feel like hell.

I guess we might actually see Capela get a couple minutes before Dwight comes back. Hope he's ready.

I took me two weeks to be able to walk and move pain free after a bruised rib and another week to be able to play sports and I am no athlete of course.

The fact that he went to the hospital is concerning though - maybe they were worried about his Kidney since he did get hit in the back.

But yeah he might be done for a few weeks if the bruise was bad enough to send him to the hospital.

What's with all these injuries?! Dwight, KPap, Terry and now TJ!!!!

Please be OK. I hope that this will not mentally affect his game when he comes back. But he needs to take care of his health first.

Your right, I'd start Jones to Howard and Let DMO try to get boards on the opposing 2nd tier PF. He looks like a unathletic T-rex out there playing volleyball. If he's not hitting those fadaway hooks, he's basically a liability.

I really hope Kpap can be healthy to play at least 10-12 minutes.

Maybe this is destiny to give the kid a last chance to prove at least he can stay in this league next year.

He still got a month to prove it if he can play.
