in mchale's mind, we lost because we couldnt get to the 50-50 balls, and we didnt finish at the rim. also rebounding wasnt good enough.

    i think he's got a point.

These guys need to stick to the 4/5 pick and pop. Why did we go away from that again? That would collapse the defense and leave open wing shots. Terry should be coming off the bench. I like prigs... Harden forcinv too much on iso and Terry is tired. I think this game was called in.... points shedding crap its unwatchable. Im usually an optimist but i am resigning myself.

One thing no one has mentioned was the crowd. They were standing for a majority of that run and only powered them that much more. If a good shooting team has some momentum and gets more juice from the fans then it'll be impossible to not give up a run.

McHale needed to use some timeouts during this stretch. It doesn't matter if he had just used one, he needed to cool off the crowd and kill their momentum. Carlisle was so good at doing this in the first round. You have timeouts for a reason Mchale, use them.

The only reason small ball worked for GSW was because Rockets couldn’t take advantage of the size advantage in the 2nd. This was due to Howard constantly being fouled by green. As soon as I saw Green foul Howard for the 3rd consecutive time I knew Howard was going to lose his cool and pick up his 3rd foul. Can’t blame Howard though if the refs are going to let Green ride on Dwight like he is part of the rodeo they should also allow Howard to defend himself. If still don’t understand why McHale did not use a sub after the 3rd non call and just hammered Green to show the refs we are not taking it. Instead Howard got his 3rd and had to come out. Also disappointed in lack of timeout by coach. I understand that he wanted the team to mature and get out of their own funk however since we lost by so little you wonder what a timeout to adjust would of yielded for us. Finally Harden was completely hammered during the 1st half so he had to adjust to shooting in 2nd half. You would wonder what would of happened to momentum GSW had if harden was able to drive and get calls.

Yeah, the crowd was definitely solid. I'm proud that we played through and gained that lead regardless. Then we had to play 5 on 8 from there.

    As I mentioned last night.

Brewer and Jones are so bad defensively.

Their off ball defense is horrific. It is James Harden bad.

What calls did I miss? I like the video, bc I might have missed the foul at 6:06, but a lot of those replays didn't show anything conclusive. I'm only reviewing the run at the end of the 2nd btw. Imo, 1 or maybe 2 missed calls on Harden. On the 1st potential missed call, he got the ball back and hit a jumper. On the 2nd missed call, GS missed in transition and Harden got fouled right after and went to the line.

I don't mind debating every play in that run. And I'm not arguing that the Rockets didn't get screwed in the game. All I'm saying is during the 2nd quarter run, missed calls were not significant at all.

I felt like we got okay shots, they just didn't fall. It seemed like we didn't plan for Livingston at all (no big surprise and no big foul on the staff) and we also didn't account for how bad Dwight's knee was. We had to emerge from some muck, and we did eventually, but the Warriors play the same lineup all year, they're sharp, you waiver and they will bury you.

Simple as that. Nothing to be worried about IMO. Just plan for Livingston next time.

Kudos to Flop for creating this video
We can report this to the NBA. Follow these instructions.
First as soon as we start making noise I guarantee NBA will demand this video to be taken down. So download the program called 4Kvideo downloader or something similar so you can make a copy of this video. Link: https://www.4kdownload.com/howto/howto-download-youtube-video?source=videodownloader
Now that we have a copy of the video you can upload it to youtube to either send in your link or Flop’s.

Please review these missed calls. Link can be found. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NVkzTr-op7U
    Some Key misses:
    1. Harden could not get any calls on his drives throughout the game. I am shocked he only shot 6 free throws considering how aggressive he was the entire game. It should have easily been a 40 point night for him.
    2. The third quarter had the most moving screens for the Warriors.
    3. I am surprised not one moving screen call was made in the entire game. This definitely favors the Warriors considering the splash brothers are better than everyone in the NBA at shooting off the dribble.
    4. Bogut grabs and hooks Dwight every chance he gets when going for rebounds.
    5. There were hardly any bad calls against the Warriors. Maybe a couple of times where the Rockets were touching the Warriors on their back when they shot a layup in transition, but 1/2 went in. They did the same to Brewer except they would go for his hip rather than his back which is less noticeable. I noticed more contact on Josh Smith and other Rockets drives in transition which I didn't add. Jones looked like he fouled Curry on that three at the end of the game, but it came after a blatant push off which sent Corey Brewer flying.
    6. I left out a lot more (non)calls against the Rockets because they were hard to notice without me pointing them out and I did not want to seem biased.
    7. Specifically in the 2nd qtr
    A. There appeared to be one moving screen on Dwight in the 2nd quarter, but when you see the reverse angle showing how Bogut picked up a foul on Josh Smith it shows Harrison Barnes was grabbing Dwight's arm on the roll while shading him to make it look like a moving screen. He was trying to get Dwight in early foul trouble.
    B. Draymond Green fell back onto Howard's left knee in the 2nd quarter. I added it. Also, added some extras in the 2nd Q showing how they got some calls that we didn't.
    C. The Rockets started the 2nd quarter 31-24. They committed their 5th team foul at the 6:19 mark of the quarter. The FT difference was 7-2 in favor of the Warriors. The Warriors finished the half with the momentum up by 3 points.
    D. The only reason we did not crush them on the boards when they went small is because they would tuck, grab, and push Howard out of position.
