Not that I advocate playing props, but those are sweet odds for a team that just needs to stay healthy to win it all. WC teams with lower odds : Spurs - Don't think they'll stay healthy...and even if both teams are won't be able to handle us. Warriors - Can't handle our interior game and the addition of Ty. Thunder - Health questions .....but, see major sleeper potential. Clippers - You've got to be kidding me. EC Cavs - Can't match our balanced attack...vulnerable to our frontline in a huge way. Bulls - Rose hasn't been the same player...and unless he regains pre injury form, they are a non factor. What an overlay. I think our health issues raise doubt, but, much more than that, it's about folks just not realizing what we have down here. And, if we get to the Finals, we'll likely win it. It will be nice to watch those odds shrink up as the year goes on.
The Warriors handled our interior game just fine...and Ty doesnt add defense. Sure, we can maybe hang with them, but they are clear favorites against us. A healthy Spurs team is the best team in the NBA. The Clippers finally have depth, which was their biggest weakness last year.
I agree these odds put us at the best value bet in the NBA and I will be making a wager along with my father.
The Warriors WERE having major problems with a healthy Dwight and the hatching of CC. Then Dwight got hurt, played hurt..... Now, add in a healthy DMo, an emerging phenom in CC, and a healthy Dwight. And Ty's massive impact on this team....not even the Spurs will beat us.
These odds are very interesting. Now, I'm not saying anything else just yet, as I want to get the thread going. But, you can bet I'll have plenty of input later.
