The interesting thing about the Packers is that their QB transitions have all been messy, like really messed up, but they ALL worked. So they are doing it like Buffy the Vampire. So wrong. But so right.

Here’s my question? Why would The Falcons (picking 8th) or The Raiders (picking 13th) trade for Justin Fields with only one year remaining on his rookie deal when either could very likely draft the likes of Penix or Nix at their draft positions for several years of rookie QB salary? Steelers picking 20th?……OK, makes a little more sense, but why would they, or anyone for that matter, be interested in trading for a QB that finished 22nd in passing with only 16 TDs?

Your strong doubts about Fields are justified IMO. This why the Bears will only get a 3rd round pick for him.

If you are a team with Kenny Pickett or Desmond Ridder as your starter, Justin Fields represents an improvement. You can't say the same about Michael Penix or Bo Nix. I would offer a 3rd + 5th (next year) for Justin Fields and give him a one-year trial run if I was the Steelers.

Falcons are an average QB and good coach away from being a very good team. I can see them trading for a QB, unclear about the others teams though.

Have the Texans put Davis Mills on the market yet?

The bears had a chance to send fields to Philly and missed it.

Idiots. That org is such a clown show for some reason.

which is why the Bears need to draft a better QB.

Fields is still two years away from being two years away. I don't think that there is any team dreaming on giving him a max deal in FA.

If I'm drafted by the Bears, I'm holding out like Elway
