That’s a bit surprising. But maybe it’s good because RB have generally short NFL careers. And college bruising and tackling takes less of a toll than NFL hits. A 25 year old rookie may provide a more mature runner for the next 3 or 4 years of top level production. May pay dividends real quickly.
Of the few plays of his highlights that are pass receptions, he seems like a natural with good hands. Not going to get too excited about a 6th round RB, but I like the pick. EDIT: His age could be a huge plus.
Age does not bother me when it comes to RBs. We’re ready to compete now so if he can contribute right away, I’m down with it. Shelf life is not long for them.

So who was the BEST running back for Texas again and where was he drafted. Wait not drafted right? You never know about RBs. He looks good at least for Kick off and maybe Punt returns if nothing else. If he can do some work, why not.
