    We need to go at least 8-11 over the next 19 games

    That would get us to 15-30, and we know 15-30 can be good enough to make it to the Series

    I'm not talking about trading away top players.

    I'm saying that's when adjustments like - DFAing Abreu, and changing out some AAA type guys may happen along with maybe considering coaching changes.

    BTW, the pitching is getting healthy, they're only 5.5 games behind, the season isn't even close to over. Fans around these parts are spoiled.

    I'm not familiar with the 2 prospects, but Chicago is a team that does not want to be down too long.

    By not having Benentendi or Abreu on the payroll in 2026 that opens a lot of possibilities.

    Much better than having Benentendi on the books through 2027.

    Probably irrelevant now that they signed Walsh.

    They probably wouldn’t do it either. But I wouldn’t do a worse deal if I were the Astros.

    At this very moment it is very very low. He is not worth trading unless he gets hot. At this point it’s trending to have Houston extend him a QO and him accepting it to run it back and try to rebuild his value.

    Show any free agent in history who signed for more than $20M after posting an ops <500 over a full season, especially with a QO attached.

    Bregman also has a 10 team no trade clause in his contract, but his value is nothing right now. I agree with Snake that he might have to accept a QO at this point if this continues
