Honestly, never really watched Tucker beyond the 30-second gotcha clips in liberal circle-jerks. Maybe he's smart, I don't know. But, he's an amateur. He has never done one minute of public office, elected or appointed, at any level. Neither does he have any executive experience running any sort of large organization. He's the sort of guy to take pop shots at the actual leadership from the peanut gallery, not a guy you can give actual authority and responsibility to and expect anything good to happen. Even if he's a political genius, he should maybe hone his skills a little as a mayor or an agency deputy secretary or something before we put our lives in his hands. Trump was an amateur (but no so much as Carlson) and look what's happened. Even aside from the things I disagree with politically, he's had trouble realizing his plans because of tactical mistakes in working the government machine. Obama wasn't a complete amateur having served in other elected positions, but he also had a slow start because of his greenness. Please stop it with the amateurs. Outsiders are not better. They can sound like they are independent-minded because before politics people's lives didn't depend on what came out of their mouths. Can we please go back to picking professionals to be our leaders?
