Props to Lions' Oline...and the Chiefs WRs' butter fingers.

So.. on that defensive holding call for 5 yards earlier. Isn't it an automatic first down? Why did the Lions decline it? or better yet, why didn't the refs tag it on to the yards gained. That's why they usually do.

Lions drafted 4 impactful rookies. Hope ours can bring it like that.

It would've been 1st and 5 or 2nd and 2. Do you value the extra down for 3 yards? Kind of a toss up.

Defensive holding calls are automatic first downs for the offense or did they change the rules? I can't keep up anymore.

I assume Dan Campbell gave the game ball to Toney

I love me some Joe Burrow, but I am concerned about the price tag of the QB`s moving forward and the ability to keep star skill players around him for a 5-year window. Hey, get what you can get but realize you may not be able to have all your "A" receivers, he will need to take some "B" and "C" receivers and make them better, but you can't have Higgins and Chase and pay the QB as they will want to get paid also.

It goes hand in hand! You need both. There is not one example of a great QB w/o a great weapon.

Bradshaw and Swan, Starbauch and Pearson, Montana and Rice, Manning and Harrison, Mahommes and Kelcie....QBs need weapons

Although it was one game, last night was a classic example of how a QB needs weapons around him to be great. Mahomes was good but with many of the WRs around him dropping balls and running the wrong routes, he wasn't the same w/o Kelce.

There are multiple examples of all time greats without elite receivers. I’ve already given them to you.

One game gives you confirmation bias, just like the Georgia game for Stroud.

Goff is grossly underrated. He can get the job done if the Lions defense is up to the task.

It's nice to see the Lions get on track, they were the laughingstock a few years ago, got a crazy coach and now they just beat the Chiefs on TNF.......so you can go from sucking to pretty darn good in 3 years.

They are automatic 1st downs. But that holding call you're talking about happened on 1st down anyway.

So if the Lions accepted the penalty, they'll get 1st and 5. If they declined, the 8 yards are gained from the run and they have 2nd and 2. They declined.

Outside of Brady who still had Gronk, Wes Walker and Edelman, name them, I missed it.

Rodgers for multiple years. Peyton in Denver. Brady multiple years.
    Brees multiple years.

Your Cobbs, Valdez-Scantling, Welkers, Stokleys of the world aren’t names without these QBs

I dont mind debating this issue with you but lets be FACTUAL.

Rodgers stepped into a good situation once Farve left. He had Donald Driver, Greg Gennings, James Jones and Jordy Nelson.

Driver, Jennings and Nelson were Pro Bowlers

Peyton Manning was to Denver to play with Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker

Thomas and Decker were Pro Bowlers

When Brees came to N.O he had Marquis Colston, Devery Henderson and Joe Horn

    Horn was a Pro Bowler

These players were Pro Bowl players prior to playing with those QBs

Be actually factual. Check the seasons.
Check when they became pro bowlers and when they didn’t play with those QBs.

The QBs made the receivers, not the other way around. And none of them were elite.
