Never saw an episode of Parks and Rec and decided to give it a chance recently. Liked it, didn’t love it, but kept watching. Wasn’t looking forward to the additions in season 3, but man was I wrong. Thought it really made the show much more dynamic. In the middle of season 6 now and love how the characters developed. Totally dig the show.
Yeah, Parks really took off after the 2nd season when they settled in to their roles. I'm looking forward to the second season of After Life on Netflix this weekend. Great show.
Just watched it.... I like the show more. But movie was still good. JoJo rabbit was a masterpiece though.
Just finished watching the movie Just Mercy from Redbox. Great story and great acting. I highly recommend it.
I agree! Great acting by a great cast, beautifully filmed, and man, I loved the music. Thosr songs took me back to good times for sure. The script is great, and the characters brought out a rollercoaster of emotions from me. They made me laugh, nervous, sad, disgusted, mad and scared. Lots of hilarious parts though, and I loved it.
It's not a show but it is funny and the song is great. Fred Armisen and Jenna Fischer are well worth watching.
Suburbicon 4/10. A movie that tries way to hard to be clever, the subplot especially. Only watched it for the cast but even they could not save the movie. I knew what would happen 30 minutes in.
Funny how we overlook certain shows. Big little lies is always front and center when I open the Hbo go app and it never occurred to me to click on it. Looks like I have a new show to watch after Waco and El dragon turned out to be disappointments after the first couple of episodes.
Can't believe I forgot about Rounders. Definitely going to watch that again. Might add Oceans 11 & 13 to the list also. Since you mentioned Rounders, you should check out Mississippi Grind. I'll check those out, thanks for the recommendations.
The Dead don't Die. I checked out 30 minutes in, I should have known earlier when they had the discussion about the theme song in the car and also with all the talk about polar frakking. Just trying to be too clever, Am I missing something?
