The thing I like is CNN's logic: "If you hate Trump, you must vote for Biden." That doesn't even make basic sense. Maybe Biden is the same or worse than Trump. Then the logic fails. So the premise is built into the CNN article: Biden is automatically better than Trump. And, since we have no other choice, we basically have no choice! It's Biden or Biden. Says CNN.
When it comes to CNN, its main value is to watch which woman they are hyping for Biden's VP pick this week.

When pressed on what evidence supported his and trump's claim that mail in voting would contribute to massive voter fraud...
Eh, we all needed a break. And where does he say inject bleach again? As terrible as Trump is you would think you wouldn’t have to lie to prove it. FAKE NEWS!
To me "forfeiting you vote" makes no sense at all. First, its for the President of the United States. I can't think of any more important decision one might make (other than who you marry and decisions regarding your kids) anyone might have to make. This is the person that for at least four years makes decisions that will effect every aspect of your (and your family's) lives. Second, there are very clear differences in the two candidates. And this year, those differences are not limited to differences in policy and approach to government. These two candidates are polar opposites as people. Clear differences in how they interact with others around them (their family, the people they work with, and the people they would govern). There has never been such a choice when it comes to honesty, trustworthiness, integrity, and morality. Which of the candidates you'd want as a neighbor? As boss? A pastor? And a third and last reason... if you don't exercise your right and privilege to vote, to choose who leads this country, then how can you complain if things happen you don't like? You had an opportunity to make your choice, but didn't.
you have every right to forfeit your vote but in doing so you must realize you are acknowledging you're okay with trump for another four years. if you don't want trump running the country another four years, you must vote biden. it's the only course of action available unless you are okay with trump. there is no rationalizing around that reality. maybe you think biden would be even worse but again, this intrinsically means you are okay seeing 4 more years of trump rather than risk seeing biden in office. you may not like biden but trump as president is a known quantity - abject failure and detrimental to the country. biden may turn out to be similar, better, worse - but that's the point of voting. if we're not happy with the job he does either, then let's get rid of him too and keep getting rid of whoever takes the job until we find someone who's good at it.
Meanwhile... trump hasn't even raised any concern over russian bounties to putin... btw, one of the best interviews of trump, politely and forcefully asking direct questions that obviously trump was incompetent to answer. And his defense of russia... wow.
If I don't vote, that does not mean I am OK with Trump. To me, this is like a criminal saying: "OK, you're gonna get it in the front or the back. Freedom, Baby. Which do you prefer?" OMG it's Chigurh from No Country for Old Men! You wanna do the coin toss, and I ain't gonna call it.
trump is pulling up stakes and surrendering Michigan. In 2016 trump won MI by 0.3% of the vote and its 16 electoral votes.
Actually, it really does mean you are OK with trump. Otherwise you would use your vote to remove him from office. btw, I suspect there are many republicans facing the very same decision and taking the same path as you. A number will even say they aren't voting for him but when push comes to shove they will, because the "R" by his name. Hopefully enough republicans will vote their conscious and vote for change. They can go back to voting straight ticket in 2022 and 2024.
