I wouldn’t mind Fulton at all I thought he was or would be gone I want edge or Fulton Or trade down. I love delpit and if he’s there and gm and Fulton are gone you have to take him, but I really think we need safety less than a corner like Fulton
It's already been reported that DW didn't even know Hop was getting traded and had to find out through twitter. There's no way ass chin consults with any of his players, let alone the greatest one we have in trading the other great we had.
Exactly. There's no way he even gets input on a draft then. If he can't even get the respect of being let know that his main weapon/friend is going bye bye, hes not getting an input say of who butt drafts. Sad.
I think Watson separates himself from the GM side of things TBH. I’ve heard him mentioning trusting BoB and talking about the relationship they have. BoB has stated building that “team” around DW and I get it. He got him the LT and arguably more weapons.
I was pretty angry when the Cardinals made their selection with the #8 pick. I was thinking, "This should be Texans' draft pick right now."
I love JK Dobbins...but no way we can draft a RB at 40, right? I mean...after trading a 3rd for Duke and having bloated D. Johnson...surely we can't afford an RB at 40...right? ESPN has us mocked to take Dobbins...maybe they're just counting on BOB doing something dumb.
Too many other holes. I’d love to have the guy, but I can’t imagine them doing it. But, of course, that doesn’t mean much!
The dumb part is already done. Paying $10 mil to a washed up running back, leaving your RB position in Limbo. Duke Johnson is a nice 3rd down piece but they need a guy who can eat up carries.
I’m thinking Baun at OLB or the Penn State DE in the second. Either would significantly improve the pass rush
Fulton sounds amazing. Didn't watch him much but from this description he easily sounds like a 1st round corner. I wonder why he wasn't drafted in the 1st?
I'm not a big fan of drafting any RB at 40. I don't know anything about Swift, though...maybe he is the real deal. I'm just concerned that HOU won't have a pick as high as 40 for, what, another half decade? Why use it on an RB? I get the whole best player available argument, too...but RBs are incredibly depreciative and relatively easily replaceable. Plus we have 1000 other needs. Can you draft a coach and GM? I'd rather us just trade the pick to restore draft capital if that's on the table. IDK.
