Yeah I expected them on the shorts but I’m not planning on buying those. Glad they’re not on the jerseys.
Nothing to complain about here. Really like all of them and definitely a step in the right direction.
New ones look like generic Nike shorts from Eastbay. I don’t care for it. Obviously the retros are great. Overall, I think the rockets are too inconsistent with their brand identity. A shame for a franchise with an extensive history like this one. They took away all the things people wanted changed in the jersey, but all of that consisted of brand elements from the logo. Since they didn’t change the logo, they got stuck trying to make the jersey be an extension of the logo. They should have rebranded all the way. Not just some parts. Otherwise, you get generic. If you want them to hear you, don’t buy the primary and just buy the retros. Lopside the sales so they can see the trend.
Don't care for the side panels & arm circles. And maybe nitpicking but either make it red/black or red/white Red jersey/black side panel/white font Either And these new jerseys don't quite match the black.
I mean he was consistent, but he targeted kids in the late 90s and China in the 2000s and beyond. The branding of today has no cohesion anywhere. It’s like he’s giving a favor to one of his vendors by giving design jobs to his niece currently taking prerequisites in junior college. You’re right though. The inconsistency began the moment Les traded Horry.
