Just a stupid year so far at the deadline. About 20 hours for sanity to return. Cleveland getting weaker makes me happy. Nobody else getting stronger makes me happy. Honestly it’d be kinda awesome and funny to me if the dodgers, Astros, Yanks and Sawks got together and said- let’s just sit this one out collectively.

I’m ok with that on some level. It’s not real smart I don’t think, but good for Cincy and the Mets I guess- anytime you can jump the market and waste a trip to the playoffs for an arm on the market you just have to do it.
Indians will get Kluber back soon and now have Puig, an idiot but major OF upgrade for them. They didn't get weaker

Good trades for Cleveland and Cincy, although Cincinnati basically has all their chips on 2020. Doesn’t look like a very good deal for San Diego but Trammell has extremely high upside. I’m glad Bauer wasn’t Houston’s guy.
As dumb as this deadline has been, I think dominoes are gonna fall. Giants have every incentive now to sell, especially considering other teams around them in the WC race have added when you consider they are just 3 games ahead of the Mets and now 2.5 back of Philly who added a SP.
9:28pm: The trade is still pending medical reviews, according to Heyman. That’s especially notable considering Puig is currently involved in a brawl in the Reds-Pirates game.
They were getting Kluber back whether they made this trade or not, those are independent events from each other. I didn’t want to see Tyler in game 3 of the ALDS after having to face Kluber in game 1 and Bieber in game 2. Those guys could, theoretically lock you up and end your season. Puig isn’t ending our season.
