Elias might know a thing or two. Im just surprised the orioles owner let him trade anything. Hes been kind of a tease/scrooge the last few years.

I like Cashner. Wouldn’t mind Houston signing him as the 5th starter next season if he’s cheap enough.

Sox got Cashner, I’m 1/1 on this prediction so far!

    3 offseason Correa trade ideas:

Braves for Dansby Swanson, Ian Anderson, and Kyle Muller

Brewers for Travis Shaw, Corey Ray, Brice Turang, Trey Supak, and Jacob Nottingham

Rays for Matt Duffy, Matt Liberatore, and Shane Baz

Well, yeah, but that was a hypothetical “trade Correa for pitching” scenario. TBH, I’m really sick of his attitude. So full of himself, and always getting hurt. What good is he if he’s only available for half the season.

Bregman is full of himself, yet this is always spinned as a positive. Why doesn’t Correa get the same latitude?

Trade Correa? That’s gonna be a no for me, dog.

Correa is a must if this team wants to square up with the Yankees in October.

Correa has never not had 460+ plate appearances except for his rookie season when they brought him up in June.

Bregman has that baseball junkie attitude/swag that you need on the team. It's like a franchise QB type, first one in and last one to leave.

Correa doesn't have that super drive imo and just cares about his status a lot.

I don’t really see an extreme difference between the two, but maybe I don’t see as much of the off field stuff because I live far away and don’t pick up on local stories as much as I would if I lived in Houston.

This, and also the injury issue. BTW, when I said “trade Correa for pitching”, I meant this offseason, not this trade deadline. Anyway, doubt it happens, just playing online GM. To each their own.

What has given you that impression? Correa has always been considered an 80 makeup guy.

Bregman is always pro team where it seems like Correa is always pro Correa. That’s part of the rub for me.

Look, this team is better with a healthy Correa on it and that’s not debatable. There is just something that doesn’t sit right with me and Correa. Doesn’t mean I’m ready to ship him off.

I will always root hard for him and I do want the best for him as an Astro. Dude has all world talent. I don’t hate CC by any means. Different personalities will always be a thing on a team and that’s ok.

I think it’s pretty much a given that he will leave when he becomes a FA. Do the Astros have to worry about that right now? Probably not. Hoping the Astros can win another WS or 2 with him. Also might be able to get a massive haul for him if they go that route. I’m a little conflicted.
