They could very well go 40-11 the rest of the way. It isn't far fetched.

 

Who cares how many games they win in the reg season what can this team do come playoff time, we’re still one piece away imo

 

most important of all, is to find a coach w/ heart leading them to learn from those losses, bringing them discipline and toughness.

OK, I'm a True Fan. I come in on wins, losses, games in progress, and try to give my opinion on what's happening. I don't wait for losses to come in and "Told 'Ya So!", the people here. I also don't uniformly praise everything the team does like their pronouncements were chiseled on stone tablets carried down off Mt. Sinai.

Being a 'True Fan' means that you speak truly. And in my opinion, this team is neither disciplined enough, nor has the talent to overcome it, to win 60 games this season. They'll probably get 55-56. Gordon will help, provided he's last month of the season Gordon.

This was a embarrassing defeat, that exemplified everything wrong with the 19-20 Rockets: overreliance on Harden, so the double team flummoxed their offensive game plan; poor 3-pt shooting from the role players and/or a refusal to run the offense through them (House shot well, on decent usage); Capela not taking over down low; lack of hustle on D; and Westbrook bombing with abandon, whether he made or missed. Oh, and MDA getting outcoached by Kerr. Again.

Lot of flaws. Not sure they can fix them, with the constraints on the front office by ownership.

Lol.. this team is capable of beating any team and capable of losing to any team. Therefore, no.

 

So any NBA team can beat any other team on any given night.

There needs to be a significant change from top-down. Morey needs to get fired and his silly analytics driven philosophy needs to go. Not enough consideration given to personnel and intangible and too much number scrunching going on. No wonder Rockets have done diddly in the playoffs despite having a competitive regular season team

 

for safety.

 

I’m going to be surprised if we get 50 tbh, 55 would be the ceiling, unless Ego comes back and is on fire (doubtful) can’t see 60 at all ...

 

Rockets aren't winning 60 games this season.

In fact, aside from the Bucks and Lakers, it's highly unlikely any other team does.
