You know I had to do it. A new season is upon us, last one showed the rise of English football with both club competitions having an all-English final. The transfer period has been pretty tame so far, but it could all ramp up once Neymar leaves PSG. My predictions: CL: Barca (Griezmann and Frenkie probably safe, Neymar might be joining as well.) EL: Sevilla Bundesliga: Bayern (although we've been really disappointing on the transfer front recently, hope we see some major signings in the next weeks). Premier League: Man City (great transfers) La Liga: Barca Serie A: Juve (good transfer summer as well) Also congrats to @arno_ed and @Ace, Dutch football has been revived both on the national and international stage and the youngins still have their careers ahead of them.
dam you back? was gonna start it a week before kickoff on your behalf if you were still out vacationing
WELCOME BACK YUNG-T! No lie - I was going to start this thread, but wanted to wait for you to come back. Also - where is @Raz?
Thanks, appreciated. @Raz is too busy digesting all these Bayern transfers we've been blessed with. Let's hope we can bring in Sane now that he's back from vacation.
a few talking heads have said that this year could be elefsee's year at the top of the pl. wat say you brehs? we haven't signed anyone doe. fsg needs to follow tillmen and go for fireworks
I'm a bit busy with some health issues but I'll do my best to keep up. Where is the bet on Andora?, a bit disappointing. Hopping to see a good season from the belgian teams in european competition this time. So what about Dembélé?, where is he going.
Atletico suing and saying Barca needs to pay 200mil, as they agreed to a contract back in March, when the buyout clause was 200mil. This should be fun. PS: Barca again showing what a mess of a club they are, making the transfer official when Atletico rejected the transfer. Biggest crooks in football.
Will depend on courts. The original buyout clause was 200mil, but changed to 120mil in May. Atletico believe Griezmann signed a deal with Barca before that date, which in their eyes means Barca needs to pay the 200mil clause that was active when the agreement was made.
Yeah, the pre-deal, work for the lawyers. I think they should investigate into it, whether it was legit.
Nah, I was actually boycotting this site as long as you're banned while in the meantime that one specific user is still allowed to spread his diarrhea. Guess I can go back to being active now, too.
No one mentions or speaks about felix?. Looks like the kid is gonna be a major story this season. I only watched him in a few games, mostly national team so I don't know how good he really is but the hype is real.
Followed him a bit over the years. One of the brightest prospects for sure and reminiscent of Kaka (he's only now being used as a winger, was more of a 10 in his youth and is better suited for it) in his touch, vision and creativity. But he's incredibly inconsistent and raw still, will have one awesome game followed by a few where he's completely invisible and makes bad decisions.
Neymar is next. According to Bild, Coutinho, Dembele, Umtiti, and Semedo have all been offered to lessen the cost of the transfer. Barcelona have lost their mind and sold their soul.
