It was fine. Too many dumb choices by the characters to be anything more than a normal scary movie, other than the silence aspect, typical genre film
From the vast majority of people that watched it? Last I looked 95% of people liked it on Rotten Tomatoes... 90% on Google. Your in the minority homie... don’t worry there will be another Transformer’s or Pirates of the Caribbean movie out soon for you to go see.
Didn't like the movie. Albeit it being science fiction. My mind goes to.... Spoiler: Spoiler How did the military not kill the monsters off
I went to go see this in the theaters but unfortunately had to go solo. Some jerk kept throwing popcorn at me and whispering "Loser!" so I walked out while the previews were still on. Still haven't seen the movie.
The solution to the Alien problem seemed kind of obvious Looks like someone would have run on it and untilized it. Rocket River
The scariest part was the most realistic part. I cringed every time someone went down the steps. Even cringed when the monster did.
Agreed. Spoiler in a real world scenario the monsters would have been ridiculously easy to kill off. Anything that has hearing that sensitive would get destroyed by excessively loud noises unless they had some kind of hearing protection....or at a minimum if they were blind, and "saw" using their hearing, loud noises would make them ineffective at killing which would allow people to capture them and study them in order to find other weaknesses.
This is one of those flicks I'll end up seeing alone. My significant other still hasn't gotten over The Shining and the kids are off being adults, whatever that amounts to. It doesn't include getting scared with Dad in a movie theatre. To be fair, they will go to any SF or fantasy flick I want to see, and the kids dig the Marvel flicks, so we're good there. My chick likes those racy European films. Has anyone here besides us seen Love, director Gaspar Noe's 2015 film that appeared at Festival de Cannes? It's one of the most explicit films I've seen in an age that's not an X out of the Valley. Pretty wild. The story drags between sex scenes, but those scenes are beautifully filmed. We were surprised. It's showing right now on Netflix.
