93% chance of winning and they choke. I cannot believe they come out like that..

It also doesn't help that they keep playing known scrubs Dempsey, Bradley, Altidore, etc. Those guys ave never gotten it done, failed playing abroad for the most part and STILL play over younger more talented players.

    3 upsets had to happen.
All three did. Weak entitled players deserve what they got.

    Bradley is so overrated.
He shouldn't be on the team.

Thanks Gonzales for your casual play costing us an Own goal and a WC spot.

This is such a big deal way bigger than even a Rocket's season - just devastating.

Panama's first goal didn't even cross the line, and it wasn't close...but losing to Trinidad should be automatic elimination

Why would our male athletes want to get their bodies in peak physical shape so they can make $40,000/yr in MLS?

Soccer is a Saturday morning sport for 7 year olds in America. If athletics was on an even plane like the women, our national team would compete.

But I'm sure within the next 200 years MLS will be just as good as Ligue 1.

I wish I could say I'm merely angry or that I saw it coming, but I'm definitely depressed.

You can't see it that way.
If you lost to TT then you wouldn't have gotten out of the first round.

I don't want to see any of these players or coaches involved with the national team ever again...outside of Pulisic. He can stay.

Arena should not be allowed on the flight home. Gulati should resign immediately after firing Arena.

I haven't been this disappointed and just crushed since the 93 Oilers.

    F*** YOU, BRUCE ARENA
    F*** YOU MICHALE BRADLEY
    F*** YOU MEXICO
    F*** YOU COSTA RICA
F*** YOU JOZY ALTIDORE, CLINT DEMPSEY, AND THE REST OF THE FU***ING TEAM

Tell that to Mexico. They **** the bed the entire Hex 4 years ago, got bailed out, and did fine in the World Cup.

There is no "maybe next year." 5 years. That's how long the wait is.

A travesty. This will set soccer back a decade in this country, if not more. **** the players who left Europe early and came to MLS for a pay day, sub-standard training and meaningless competition. Their laziness led to this. Michael Bradley went from a symbol of nepotism, to somebody who was an important player in his own right and is now emblematic of the entitled, lazy MLS-based American.

Every player not named Christian Pulisic and DeAndre Yedlin should never play for this team again. Any positive moment they ever had in an American uniform is now tainted. Call up everyone on our U- teams and get them some experience; they've got FIVE YEARS to get ready for the next World Cup. We have wasted a full World Cup cycle of Christian Pulisic.

The MLS did this. Poor coaching did this. Our horrible talent development did this. US Soccer did this. Fire Gulati, Arena, Klinsmann again, the training staff, the Nike designers who keep giving us shitty jerseys and everyone associated with this nightmare. MLS stadiums deserve to be empty for the next five years.
