Lin wasn’t the worst acquisition in the morey era But I don’t know why you are completely faulting him for it. It was two bad post seasons and then we got rid of him.
Lin made some mistakes in that series for sure. He also played well in parts of that series, including a very strong Game 5 as well as a great defensive effort in Game 6 that held Lilliard scoreless in the 4th quarter until the very last shot of the series. Mostly about that series, the only player who consistently brought it every game of the series was Dwight.

Money traded him to make cap room to try to sign Chris Bosh. Everyone knows that. Morey has even said that if he didn’t think Bosh was going to sign that he’d have kept Lin. Do you even read Chron.com?
