Dekker is still a solid contributor and good rotational player
He may not get major props. . . but still watching him grow

Vs Spurs: 1-5 shooting, 0-3 from three

In Dekker's last 20 games he shooting an abysmal 30% from 3.

On the season he's shooting .326 from 3.

Look, I love what Dekker brings with his high intensity play and hustle. He can rebound at a decent rate and he seems to have a good feel for the game.

At this point in the season it's highly unlikely that his 3 point shot will improve drastically overnight. He needs to stop with the 3's and focus on rebounds, putbacks, defense right now, and in the off season really work on his jumper and 3 point shot.

However in this offense everyone is encouraged to jack up 3's even if they can't hit o_O .

Gotta live with it I guess.

You're right though, the guy can drive and has mad hops. He needs to always be in or moving towards the paint. When he posts up outside you might as well be running 4-5 out there.

Yes , you do have to live with it , just like we did with Brewer taking those shots. He has to be where he's suppose to be for floor spacing purposes and he has to shoot them when he's open.

He needs to play to his strengths, attacking and cutting to the basket. He's settling too much on three pointers and he's too streaky at this point.

He is still unstable. I hope he can score 15 plus in average

I guess we'll have to wait to see if Bull has an update for us during tonight's telecast...

Dekker is more focused on March Madness than his actual game.

Dekker is a throwback player that will break out next year . Right now , I fear he's pretty much out of the rotation unless he hits his first couple of 3 attempts . It's a lot of pressure to put on a young player who is essentially in his rookie season .

I wish Mike had more confidence in him . But the way we are playing this year it's shoot or gtfo ( unless you are Trevor Ariza ... And Ariza has a track record and is a vet )

If Dekker and Harrell can learn to shoot consistently next year ; they should be starting at the 3 and 4 respectively .

Can anyone that watched the whole game tell me how Dekker ended up -14 . Was it just a statistical fluke ?

His stat line looked ok , 2/3 shooting , and 2 steals in 5 min .

We're going to have to play him more than 5 min unless we want Ariza to play 40 a game.

As far as I remember he didn't really do anything wrong. The Nuggets were just hitting everything from the 3 point line.

Thanks . I wish dantoni had more trust in his young guys . Hopefully he will play him more when seeding gets settled . I don't like Ariza playing 41.

I agree. Hopefully Ariza gets a few games off and the rest helps his shot some.

That's 5 of the last 6 games with single digit minutes for Samuel "can't shoot" Dekker

Only game with double digit playing time? Yeah the blowout W vs the Lakers when the game was over by half time.

Hope he is permanently benched come playoffs. An 8 man rotation should be enough - 5 starters plus Lou, Ego and Nene

No surprise. I definitely expected Mike to shorten the rotation come playoff time.

Dekker is trash!!!! It hurts to type this.... but Corey Brewer would probably be better for us right now.

Logs off before dekker only fans (3-4 of them) go off on me. Haha.
