I posted in another thread but repost here. Trez seems to have great chemistry with Dekker. During the game they both know exactly where the other guy is, which angle to pass & catch the pass. Would love to see both on the court and make some plays.
loving me some dekker. really hope he focuses on his shooting mechanics/footwork. i hate his little kick out/hitch at the end of his shot. think it why he has been so streaky. maybe gordon can teach him the levitating hop. seriously watch eric gordon's feet, he jumps nearly perfect straight up and down.
I'm sorry I ever thought this dude was a scrub. Scrubs don't get no love and Dekker definitely deserves some love.
A little part of me hopes he starts for the rest of the year. He may not be anything like Trevor on defense, but he finishes near the basket far better than Mr (Ryan)Anderson. I just have to keep reminding myself that Ryno finishes at a high percentage at 37 feet. My hope is that Dek decides to ride on every airplane next to A3za and pick his brain.
Someone on this team is getting traded by the trade deadline. Dekker, Capela, and Harrell's incredible growth this season might push Ryno out.
Harden - Beverly - Dekker - Capela - Ego <--Untouchable Ariza - Harrel - Andersen - NeNe (because of Age) <--- Unlikely Brewer - Everyone else - Available Rocket River
I think the only one that would be on the untouchable list is Harden. Almost everyone else in playing rotation is unlikely because the value for their contract is absolutely outstanding. Only contracts that I think are equal to overpaid are Brewer and Anderson.
I am just hoping for consistent improvement. If he can do that sooner than later we might not need both Ryan Anderson and Dekker, giving us an asset for a big trade.
Why is everyone so quick to say Anderson when trades come up? He brings something very few can by just standing there. I like him.
I did too, when he got injured. Lots of love for SLAM DEKKER! 30 points with 6-11 shooting from the 3 point line, against the Grizzlies, for the win! WOW!
I love how he drops 30 so Parsons can witness it up close and personal. That and along with this being his first start makes it official that Dekker is better than him now and it couldn't have come at a better time. A passing of the torch if you would.
this! i would trade anyone on this team save harden and gordon for another anderson and i am sending a first rounder with them
He's had enough solid games this season to really solidify his value. Morey probably creamed himself over the impact Dekker had once a starter playing more minutes and with better players like Harden. I can just hear the pitch now. "Look Sacramento I know Cousins is a star but Sam and Clint are just scratching the surface here. Look at these stats, projections, crap I just made up...." Sorry guys Morey will sell high just watch.
Got Ryan Bowen's motor, with offensive skills. Lots of credit to MDA for putting him in a position to succeed.
