the weather has been pretty light tonight...this hasn't been bad in Sugar Land just finished watching The Defenders, I enjoyed it
I guess it depends where you are because I've heard Fort Bend County has gotten some of the worst rain.
We got everything off the floor we could. Power strips, power adapters, every cord, pet beds, rugs, a couple of couches, laptop cords, etc. I spent a couple hundred dollars just replacing power adapters and surge protectors from a flood last year.
I guess so because last night was a lot worse IMO, and even then it wasn't anything catastrophic...I'm hoping that it will stay that way
I'm up north in Spring staying at my sisters but my house is Pearland. Is pearland flooding now? And how is the power? I'm considering going back tomorrow but Ill wait another day if its still bad.
Back yard patio has drained, but the water in the front yard hasn't dropped any. Still about half way up the yard. I think this third band may be the back breaker.
Worst feeling ever to have your mother call you and tell you water is in her house and theire is nothing you can do but wait
Such a shitty feeling. Rain has stopped here for a good hour now, water is draining some. Seems we're hanging on the edge with big rain, an hour or two of draining, then another big rain, drain, repeat, repeat.
Same thing here. We never thought she would get water. Her power is out, but she has extension cords, power strips in multiple rooms in her house. Afraid of what happens when power comes back on. We are flooded in so can't get to her. Called police to get her on the list for a high water rescue.
I hate to be a doomcaster, but there is no break coming. Every time a rain band begins to move away, another one forms behind it:
