8 boards? Is he building a doghouse? It won't be on the court.

I'll be content with 18ppg with good shooting % at home and on the road, and hopefully he won't drop off drastically in the playoffs either.

that's the point, the guy shrinks in the playoffs, don't have enough confidence to shoot or defend to save his life, maybe a good stretch 4 for regular season, since he is certainly not shy about hoisting shots then

Last year should have been his year.

I'm with OP in that I think Ryno will be better this season. As awful as he was at home last year (which is one of the strangest statistical anomalies I've ever seen), he almost has to be better. But he lost me with the ridiculous 22/8 prediction. Anderson only ever topped seven rebounds a game once in his career and hasn't topped more than 6.5 a night any other season. Offensively, he's never done better than 19.8 PPG in a season, and that was him taking 16 shots a night in New Orleans in 2013-14. If Ryno is taking that many shots, something has gone horribly wrong in H-Town.

Assuming his home numbers improve and he sees a slight bump in production from Paul's arrival, I think 16 and 6 would be a more realistic expectation. And in this market, getting 16 and 6 out of your stretch 4 for $20 million a night wouldn't be that bad. I could stomach that, and it would make him a far more valuable asset on the trade market.

I doubt he puts up the kind of numbers you are talking about but I agree that he is gonna have a great year and score more.

Im hoping for a 15 ppg year on great efficiency. That would be perfect next to chris paul and james harden

They need to repaint the court a different shade of color or something to help him out.

He is apparently overpaid, a good player, but will not be a star.

I think they should continue because it's hilarious how much it bothers people like you. I'm truly baffled by people that are outraged by posts. Just don't f'in read them and move on with life.

I do think he will play better than last year, knowing that his performance is going to have to convince us to not trade him before the deadline. That said, I still think he gets shipped out.

something like 13/5 is good enough for me. its the stuff he does that doesnt show up in the box score, like extra floor spacing /rof
