With these recent losses, it’s easy for us to forget we’re 25-6. Warriors are 26-6. They, too, have lost 6 games. Our culture is one of here and now. Let’s use this thread throughout the year to compare our Ls to their Ls and see if we really should be running off a cliff and yelling to “blow it up” Rockets: 25-7 Warriors: 27-7 Rockets Ls so far: Memphis, Memphis, Philly, Toronto, Lakers, Clippers, Thunder Warriors Ls so far: Houston, Memphis, Detroit, Boston, OKC, Sacramento, Denver
Warriors take care of business. Out of our losses, all but one came at the hands of a sub .500 team. The Warriors, on the other hand, have only lost two games to sub .500 teams. Not being able to to take care of business against bad teams will be the reason why we finish 2nd.
By now you should realize seating not as important as health They will do nothing if injury but still here by post season Warriors in better shape as they simply have more talent So enjoy the ride Astros wasn't 1st but is the champs
an 8 man rotation can't maintain a 1st seed thruout the season gsw can lose 3 of their starters and still beat a sub 500 team spurs can win without kawhi and parker we can't lose 2 starters and expect player 9 and 10 to be ready to step up
To be fair, we lost twice to a Memphis team that, at the time, had huge confidence. Same team the Warriors probably lost to. I would argue that Philly is better than their record suggests (as Embiid sits out so much), and that Toronto is a really good team as well. GSW lost to a Detroit team that was on the downswing (after being pretty solid at the start of the season), OKC that hasn't found its groove yet and Sacramento. Every team has hiccups. Our losses came on the heels of CP3 going out; while that's not an excuse, it's evidence that this team is terrible right after losing an integral player.
I’ll be editing this post throughout the year. I just don’t understand why so many are upset when we’re without Luc, Paul and Capela. I mean that’s like Warriors being down two of their big 4 plus an Iguodala/Livingston. Sometimes y’all are too hard on our team
Lol break all that down showing what key players were not playing on each team during those losses and the picture gets pretty clear.
Warriors are just too stacked. It already takes a miracle to beat that team, trying to compete with them for the 1st seed will be very hard.
This is a misleading way to describe this. When we lost to the Grizzlies they were still playing well with Conley on the floor. When they lost to the Thunder me and @DreamShook were still getting our fix on Thunder losses. The Rockets have two "bad losses" and the Warriors have one. In a small sample size of 6 losses you can't take anything out of this.
Hmmmmmm Looks like warriors about to take an L from the mediocre nuggets. The warriors would never let this happen they take care of business
