The only negative thing I have ever written about James Harden was that I didn't like his love for strip clubs. Otherwise, I have said that he is a fantastic player, that McHale and the Rockets were right to build the team around him and to move Lin to the 2nd unit because of skillset fit, and that ultimately the Rockets made the right decision to trade Lin. Not sure how you think that is "hating on Harden"...is this "WRONG INFORMATION"?

How is a J Lin thread still going in the offseason like 4 years after he left our team? The Lin fan bashers are just as bad as the Lin fans. Why don't ya'll just ignore each other?

LOL these lin threads are a complete mess. Lin isnt even relevant anymore. Id be surprised if hes still in the league a couple years from now.

So are yoeddy and migos the only LOFs here?

There are more in the other thread because this one is just about an unlikely hypothetical about Lin being a backup PG for the Nets.

Lin will be in the league for another 3 to 5 seasons and I believe as a very serviceable backup guard. He is due another big pay day after this contract is up. I see him getting a 2-3 contract at 15 to 17m per season.

Are you asking my opinion of Lin? He's a decent player that is a good option for a fast break second unit. He's got skills, but didn't have the skills necessary to help this team (ie off ball shooting). I liked him a lot with Pat Beverly. Pat gave the D for the 1st unit, and Lin gave the O for the second unit. Kinda like when we had Brooks and Lowry.

He's like a poor man's Jamal Crawford, except his skill is attacking the basket and Crawford's is hitting ridiculous shots. There is probably a better player to compare him to, just can't think of one at the moment.

lmao people been saying Lin will be out of the league for the last 5 years. But every year he keeps getting better. How does someone who plays not even 25min/game and averages 14.5 ppg be out of the league 'couple years from now'? Lmao

you must be dumb and uneducated. Joined in 2016 are you even a rockets fan?

He's a bigger Rockets fan than you.

Wake up, the Nets had the worst record last year and Lin played half a season.

Morey had to beg the Lakers to take him.

    Then Kobe kicked his ass.

This assessment of Lin's 2nd season with the Rockets disagrees with you:
    http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/year-review-jeremy-lin

"Lin’s biggest strides came as a shooter as he established career highs in both 3-point percentage (.358) and true shooting percentage (.572). In fact, the Ivy League product’s true shooting figure was 10th among all point guards this season, eclipsing the marks posted by All-Stars Damian Lillard and Kyrie Irving. Lin also ranked well above average as a catch-and-shoot threat, knocking down better than 40 percent of his catch-and-shoot opportunities from beyond the arc. And not only did Lin improve upon his 3-point accuracy for the fourth consecutive year, he did the same with regard to his finishing touch around the rim where he managed to knock down more than 62 percent of his shots taken from that area this season – this after connecting at a rate of 58.1 and 48.7 percent, respectively, during the prior two seasons."

Coming out of college, Lin used to say he likened his style of play to Dragic....
