I may go to our next game, just so I can boo Brewer to his face.

I stopped watching this team after the portland game. My life has been a whole lot better stress wise.

    I've grown to HATE LOSING.

And I've grown to restrain myself from starting that above sentence as a new thread.

Actually this is liberating. I don't have to care.

You know when coming back from huge self-imposed deficits is really fun and easy? The playoffs.

Exactly. Well.. almost exactly. I still care, I've just already mentally accepted this core of players won't amount to anything significant, ever. I definitely don't care if Dwight "ops out" or Harden "leaves us". In fact, I welcome both of those scenarios.

And the ameliorate portion.... nobody got injured tonight.

    Especially when facing elimination

I don't watch these guys nearly as much anymore.

I used to watch every game start to finish. Pre game. Half time show. I loved it all.

I can stick by a team that is having a rough patch. Or a team that just isn't talented enough but plays their hearts out.

But Harden and Howstd have to be two of the worst stars to build s team around. Too much emotional baggage and not enough sheer will to win at all costs.

Not that it's an excuse, but tonight underscored how much Ariza means to this team. Would Joe Johnson have been lighting us up that badly down the stretch if Ariza was in the game? I think probably not.

Team makes me sad. It's my birthday at midnight. Guess I'll just drink my sorrows away until then.

When Brewer is the back up he'll make most starters look sorely missed.

I still have some bedrock level belief in the individuals comprising this team - notably Harden, who is taking a beating on these boards. He's a huge talent, with a track record of being much better than this, and he's not even been statistically terrible (still leads the team in WS/48, has 5 times the positive plus-minus as any other guy on the team). He'll eventually figure something out.

But the body language of the whole team is so ludicrously bad. The appropriate response to being down 8 to a 5-15 team in the first quarter is determination. To buckle down more, make every play count. But to recognize it's a long game and you have to sustain your focus.

Instead, we got Dwight getting owned by Brook Lopez on 3 rebound putbacks in 2 minutes, and each time he looks around like "HEY! why is no one boxing out my man who I was 1 foot away from?!" And every time Bogdanovic would throw in a random jumper he shouldn't have hit, you'd have Harden, Brewer and Capela all just stop moving and stand there for two seconds like he had just capped a 50-0 run and they were considering quitting basketball right then and there.

I've watched plenty of losing Rockets teams before and this team is by far more offensive because they're so damn apathetic. I guess they really did need to be told to play harder.

Rockets way of defense, reach in on every play and get blown by.

How the **** is the organization ok with this? This should be an easy fix by the coach and the staff. If you reach in instead of staying in front of your man, I'm taking you out.

Same goes for effort, even if it's James Harden or Dwight Howard, no effort = bench time. God we really need Thibs.
