Before I read your entire post. I was going to see it's worth it if you have a 3 year old iPhone 5s and it broke a week ago (talking about me haha) And then I realized you are in the same boat as me. I'm sticking with Apple myself though I really like their products. They always last me a long time when taken care. The only reason my phone broke was because of moisture.
So are you getting the iPhone 7 that is coming out in a couple of weeks? It seems like it's just hold-over phone with very minor upgrades because supposedly they're going to go all out next year with the 10th anniversary iPhone 8..curved edge to edge OLED screen like the S7 Edge, glass body, iris/facial-scanning security, wireless charging.
The Blu R1 HD is by far the best budget phone ever released. $60 with Amazon ads (but you can remove them easily) and the performance on near stock android is fantastic. It is every bit as snappy as a Galaxy S7 doing normal tasks (texting, calling, emails, instagram etc.). Heavy tasks like gaming will be much slower but what do you expect. The Camera is subpar but for $60 this is, dollar-for-dollar, the best phone ever released. Seriously guys, I don't normally hype up android phones like this but this phone is that good. I am just ecstatic with my purchase.
I've mentioned the ZTE ZMax Pro phone It gets heavy Nexus/Pixel discussion closer to announcement, but we try to be equal
Has anyone actually seen an Sony Xperia Z5 Compact in person? Given Sony is releasing a new model, I was considering getting it with the price drop. But I cannot actually see it anywhere in person to test, which is a bit discomforting
Replaced my Moto X Pure for a Galaxy S7 Edge, after 2 weeks I am reselling it and going back to Moto I miss the dual speakers, the additional screensize and the OS.
better safe than sorry. return that sucker... before it torches your car. http://www.fox10phoenix.com/news/us-world-news/203370813-story
Has anyone found a 3.5 mm multi-button remote/mic adapter that works with Android phones? Every one I find searching is designed for apple which don't work on Android.
Returned it yesterday and they gave me a Galaxy S7 Edge. I'll probably go back to the Note 7 once the new ones come out and don't kill anyone.
Love mine. The fast charging is great, and the speakers with Dolby turned on sound amazing. Combine the sound with a crisp, clear screen and resolution, and you've got a great movie or Netflix experience. Camera isn't the best, but meh, I was never huge on that anyway. Also, I like looking at a different wallpaper when coming from the lock screen. What I don't like is that the stock texting app doesn't allow for group messaging; instead, group messages come in one separate text at a time, so you can't reply all. I solved that problem by using a 3rd-party app - Textra. MKBHD does a great review here: <iframe width="853" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ptni6tRrU54?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Thanks for the feedback, I'm leaning towards that Axon 7 because of the low price and if I put my 6P on Swappa before the announcement of the new one, looks like I can get around $300 for it, so basically $100 to upgrade, just wished I hopped on that Newegg deal before it was released
I literally have my phone in the shower for entertainment almost 90% off the time...with megahd or showbox going.
nexus/pixel... minus the nexus or g logo. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/lIQZ1K0G8uM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
