He's capable. He's actually athletic enough to defend in space or be a rim protector. I'm not sure he's where he needs to be from a BBall IQ standpoint. He's got a lot to learn, and learning how to switch and situational basketball will probably take some time. But he definitely has the ability to do that. he is not a stiff; he shows the ability to defend smaller, quicker players.
I wasn't trying to be rude, if it came across that way, but yes he is very versatile. Also, all the games have been on ESPN or espnwatch. So you should be able to tune in this summer for all the games or go on Reddit for all the streams.
Just check what are the countries that won medals in weightlifting in the Olympics in the last 20-30 years and you will know how uncivilized and how bad of the status this sport is in now. It is not difficult to believe there are much more doping cases in weightlifting than Tour De France in the last 20 years and there is a reason why most developed and well organized sports power nations never do well in this sport.

Troy Aikman tried to recruit Sumo Champion Akebono one offseason. But your question is odd because sumo wrestlers are treated like gods in Japan. Why would they want to be treated less by playing NFL? You dont see very many NBA caliber athletes choosing to play in the NFL either.
His comments about Zhou's play aren't any more astute. Some of the things he things Zhou sucks at are things he's done really well this summer. I suspect he hasn't seen him play much other than at the end of Rockets games, 'cause there's no way you could draw those opinions based on his play in the last couple of weeks. And you can't glean much about a guy's play from watching him in 2 minutes of NBA garbage time a few times.
What I said has nothing to do with how global the world is now nor whatever stereotypes you think it is. What I am talking about is common sense regarding human DNA and generics. Asians clearly are in a disadvantage position in certain sports physically, if you believe the technology is improving, that doesn’t mean it will only improve for Asians, the gap will be always there, and the facts showing that more NBA players are pushing their bodies to the physical limits and more injuries are happening than before, that can only mean that the chance of seeing another Yao with the way and position he played will be close to zero.
