Yeah. All my friends in South Carolina have said that all schools are already closed for the rest of the week. The plan is to reroute the highways for all the evacuations. Here, in Jacksonville and up in Savannah, they aren't doing anything. Hopefully it stays off shore to some extent.
Well, now it is suppose possibly even make landfall at Daytona. Finally closed schools and evacuated northern Florida. I would offer updates, but given JEA out here, I'm expected power to be lost sometime on Friday.
Also, "hurricane chow" lol idk how to post pics here but that was one if the funniest moments on the Simpsons for me
Man, if this thing loops around and hits florida 2x before entering gulf of mexico...could be talking about a storm worse than andrew.
Are the models still showing the loop? I know it now tracks for a direct hit on palm beach and Florida coast wasn't sure about loop effect
DAYUMN. Facebook account might be needed, but... ROUND AND ROUND HE GOES, where he stops, nobody knows... MOTHER OF...
I have a buddy who lives in Boynton Beach so I sent him a text letting him know we were thinking about him. He's very flippant about this saying this is just normal in Florida. Um, dude, Florida hasn't had a direct hit since 2005. Good luck with that.
Anyone have any good live streams of a newscast covering this? Ive tried lots of major news sites but there is nothing live.
So if it keeps traveling north, does that mean the 'dirty' side is on the east side of the storm? That would put it away from land, am I right?
I think so. Does that new update show it stearing more east? So the eye shouldn't even hit Florida....
