http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...rshall-darrelle-revis-fight-at-jets-practice/ Spoiler Brandon Marshall, Darrelle Revis fight at Jets practice Posted by Mike Florio on August 5, 2016, 4:11 PM EDT Generated by IJG JPEG Library Getty Images Remember when it was suggested that Brandon Marshall reverting to 2009 and punting a football during practice was good news for the Jets? It may be time to rethink that one. Marshall and cornerback Darrelle Revis got into a fight during practice on Friday. Via Rich Cimini of ESPN.com, Marshall approached Revis while Revis was on the field and Marshall was on the sideline. After the two traded verbal pleasantries, Marshall threw a punch at Revis. A teammate, per Cimini, literally picked Marshall up and carried him away after the incident, which came after the two players had been jawing at each other throughout practice. And so Jets fans will now insist that there’s nothing to see here. And fans of every other team won’t be able to look away as they wait for the next eruption from Mt. Marshall, which had been dormant for a couple of years. So many gems from that right there
Our schedule is pretty brutal...8 wins without the best player in the league would be very impressive. EDIT: If we had this year's schedule with last year's team (healthy JJ), they probably win 5-6 games. If Im saying 8 wins without JJ, then that's a massive improvement. Unless you're an elite team, you're not going to win double digit games with your best player on the sideline. Realistically, the Texans arent an annual 12 win team, yet.
the only tough games with brutal defense are the broncos. The toughest teams, one we face without their ugg model the other one is the last game of the season. The chiefs are tough but they no longer have brian hoyer who was their best offense and defensive player. A split against the colts is expected, even when we had terrible offenses the games down to the wire. after that, every game is winnable.

That's what was said before the start of last season too...we had a complete joke of a schedule. Being a double digit win team, when healthy, with that schedule (Oakland, Denver, GB, KC, Cincy, Minnesota...and division games)....not sure how that would be underestimating the team. If JJ isnt JJ, we win at least 2 less games, I dont think it would be unreasonable to say that.
Not really. "Another QB failed? What else is new?" If Brocks can hold his own then that's good. If not, I'll still be somewhat excited about Savage can do if these reports from training camp are true.
I don't see how it's that difficult Week 1 Chicago Bears - Should be an easy game Week 2 Kansas City Chiefs - Hopefully with a better QB than Hoyer, we should have a chance, they don't have much by way of offense. Week 3 at New England Patriots - No Brady, no problem. Week 4 BE-SF's - They are the Titans, should be an easy win Week 5 Minnesota Vikings - If you can control AD, you can beat the Vikings he's all they have by way of offense. Also, Watt should for sure be back by this week. Week 6 Indianapolis Colts - Are they any good? We'll find out! As of now, we can't say this is a super hard game. Week 7 Denver Broncos - They have a stellar defense but no QB, the defense is enough to make it a hard game, but I would think the Texans would be favored. Week 8 Detroit Lions - Is there any reason to think they are any good? They were a 7 win team last year WITH Megatron (sort of) Week 9 BYE Week 10 Jacksonville Jaguars - Could be interesting because they should be better than they've been recently, but still shouldn't be a tough game. Week 11 Oakland Raiders - The Raiders could be on the rise, but they weren't as good as the Texans last year so they probably still wouldn't be favored in this one. Week 12 San Diego Chargers - Is there any reason to think that they will be any good at all? Week 13 Green Bay Packers - Super hard game, probably a loss. Week 14 at Indianapolis Colts - We won there last year but it's always more difficult than it should be. Week 15 Jacksonville Jaguars - Same as I said before, they should be beter so it's not a gimmie, but the Texans will be favored to win Week 16 Cincinatti Bengals - We always beat them, but it should be a good game. Week 17 Tennessee Titans - The division should be clinched by this point, so we might be resting players for the playoffs, otherwise it'll be an easy win.
Not sure, but I know we're at -4 against the Bears, at home, to open the season. Which means we'd be favored by only 1 on a neutral field. We're not favored against the Chiefs at home...and not favored against the Patriots without Brady. Yes, Vegas odds arent the be-all and end-all...but to think the Texans are just going to swoop in and destroy the league is silly. Our schedule last season was a joke compared to this year...and Watt's status is going to be up in the air all year. If Watt is healthy, the goal should be around 10-11 wins. If Watt isnt healthy and we still manage 9 or more wins, then he's not nearly as valuable as I thought he would be.
last seasons our offense was a joke with no running game and hoyett throwing almost 40 passes a game more than aaron. and our defense didn't get going til the dream sat don in week 7. 11 wins should be very doable
