that would make us superbowl contenders with some luck. and i was the one smoking from a glass cigarette by having them 11-5
Two meh centers, I'd honestly rather just roll with Mancz and hope for the best in six weeks with Martin

Problem with picking guys up this late is you have to let someone on your current roster go. They know what they have in the guys in house but these other guys are question marks. It is a chance that is sometimes worth taking and sometimes it is not.

So we'll have the Chiefs with no Justin Houston, the Pats with no Brady, and the Vikings with no Teddy "Aaron Rodgers 2.0" Bridgewater. Looks like a lucky season so far.

Bergstrom has been worse than expected so I agree. The only issue is that he is "multiple" which OBrien loves. He won't be happy with say Sullivan and Mancz with neither of them able to play guard. Jeff Adams still can make this team because he can play tackle ok and can...well...line up at guard.
What if these new guys are just as bad if not worse (remember Bergstrom played very well down the stretch for the Raiders last year)? Then you have to cut them and still be searching for o-lineman. Let's not forget the salary and salary cap implications of cutting Bergstrom. The cap hit for this year is 2.5 mil.
