I hate how they dont mention the name Osweiler, Savage, or Weeden.. "James saw the quarterback's eyes and jumped on it. " But you also have to take some of it positively, our defense is looking really good. They also mention at least 10 amazing throws between each pick lol

I scanned his 22 points for anything, ANYTHING even the slightest bit negative. Nothing.

    Hello 16-0!

Brax Miller and Fuller with another stand out day.

This goes down as best Texans draft?

His job is to get people excited for the season, provide some positive notes about how the players are coming along. I think we get enough negative from PFF and the rest of the media. Just average the two out and you've got our season.

    Hoping 10-6

Why would you expect this from an employee of the Texans?

Make that 11-5 (if we can get 9 wins with Hoyer and his backups, we should be able to at least get 2 more with Boz), if not, we have a whole new set of problems.

Forgot about Grimes. I think he makes it over Hunt.

By the way, anyone else annoyed by the constant mention of the heat? Yes, 60% of the fan base grew up playing in the same heat, but we didn't have the advantage of bubbles or IVs. Mandatory water breaks every 15 minutes for the win!

    Get off my lawn!

I'm sceptical to an extent. I loved our draft, and the players we got. Especially the first four rounds.

The problem is, we're getting excited over four or five skill position rookies. Those are the players that can easily stand out and look good in practice. It's easy to single Wendell Williams out because he's fast. If he catches a ball, it's like, hey look, he catches too! Same goes for Fuller and Miller to an extent. Anderson, too.

I AM super pumped though to see what these guys do with the lights on. That is when I'll start to get excited.

Incredibly annoying. Not only is it mentioned every day, but it's done every single year, as if the climate was expected to change.

Let's hold that type of response until after the season.

Would be very hard to beat the 2006 draft in terms of quality and how they impacted the franchise:
    Mario Williams/DeMeco Ryans/Charles Spencer/Eric Winston/Owen Daniels/Wali Lundy/David Anderson.

Kubiak's first draft was probably his best top to bottom (surprise, Rick Smith wasn't involved!), and it was really a franchise altering draft as those players went on to form the core of the division title teams (along with the additions of Schaub and Foster to Dre).

    You sound uninformed.

How many of those players were present when we went on to our first playoff game ever? And any other playoffs game after that.

That 2006 contributed to 5 years of futility. When most of them were gone, then we finally won divisonal champs.

I'm sure Moss is tempted to put on some pads and run some deep routes.

Not true. I never heard of any rookie doing much noise during training camp for the past 3 yrs. Is a nice change though. Sounds like Braxton Miller will help up sooner than later. Texans offense can be lethal.

Don't be so hopeful. Missing the best defensive player in the league for an extended time with likely limitations the rest of the season, along with a new OLine with HUGE Q marks all over it should make this an interesting season...
