I don't care to follow any of them anymore. The only thing that matters is that this team cleans out the personnel team and brings in someone to run the personnel department that has authority over OBrien. I don't want OBrien picking the QB. He may very well prove to be a good coach, but he is definitely an arrogant one and I'd be afraid he'd force Hackenburg on the team just because it's his guy.
A perfect candidate for a Texans QB. None of this stuff matters. What really matters is that he will be better than anyone the Texans can put on the field now.
Have to sacrifice the year for the greater good. Put feelers out to see if Goff is declaring. If so tank. Teams that win without good QBs have small windows (49ers, Jets) teams that win with good QBs are good for more than a decade.
Ohio State has played nothing but weak opponents and yet Cardale has a 1:1 TD:INT ratio. You also left off that Cardale has been so bad that he's been benched against powerhouse teams like Northern Illinois so that J.T. Barrett could lead a comeback.
No, no Mr Sizzle sir. It's time we started thinking about our draft picks and not just follow the crowd.
How awesome would it be for this guy to throw out the opening day pitch at Minute Maid Park next year with Little Shanahan as the HC. Make it happen!
I haven't looked at any draft lists, but do any forum experts have a decent feel for the Utah kid's (Travis Wilson) game? I watched him carve up Oregon and was very impressed. He's 6'7" with great speed and a big arm.
Goff is by far the best looking prospect from a QB standpoint. Cook looks very average to me, and he benefits from a good team around him and a really good coach(one of the most underrated coaches out there). I'm worried we're way too much in play for Hackenburg(see Bill O'Brien and QB history) cause although he has one of the worst lines in college in front of him, he still plays way too scared. Jones shouldn't be starting at Ohio State, he is not good so I want nothing to do with him. After those 4 it really thins out. I think Kesler is a product of USC overhype. Briskett from NCST has gotten some attention but he's woefully inconsistent. I don't really see any other QB's out there. I really really like Kaaya from the U but he can't declare
If we get a top 5 pick, for the love of baby jesus can we draft a QB? Everyone knows we needed one for years, yet the organization refuses to.
