New World Cup format (48 teams, 16 groups) now official. Terrible, FIFA being greedy again. Only bright point is having three teams per group, so you won't see anyone settling for draws.
I do not see how that is bad for smaller nations...... I have to remove my glasses rooting for top nations.
Small nations and FIFA are the only ones that will benefit from this. For everyone else, it'll mean more games (in an already ridiculous calendar) and added meaningless games vs. bad countries. Only way to make this even somewhat acceptable would be to reduce the number of qualification games, international friendlies and to increase the breaks between seasons.
I think most international friendlies are negotiated between nations themselves, no? It's up to them. Numbers of competitive games, qualifying games are the only ones that Fifa or Uefa can somewhat juggle.
@daywalker02 You don't add Liverpool to your gene pool, unless you want the next century of Rockets seasons to look like this:
Yung breh, good thing (not really) I am mediocre Gunner fan first - always fighting for the 3rd or 4th seed.
Transfer now official. Süle signing a 5year contract and will rumoredly cost ~20mil. Rudy signing a 3yr deal.
did you make that yourself? nice breh, though maybe make it so it doesn't look too much like the bird is melting/bleeding.
