If you go back and read DGB's life story that I posted a link to some pages back, it sounds more like a hard scrabble kid turning his life around. That whole article is very troubling. A pound of pot? An assault of a girlfriend? That article alone, if it took place while he was in the NFL, would result in him being suspended a full year. I don't know much about him otherwise, but if he wants to have a career, I hope he turns it around. Otherwise, he'll be in prison.

Hope this is true. I don't believe it's a smokescreen I think there is legit interest. I think McNair gives the OK last second. I have been saying this kid is the offensive weapon we need.
If the past has taught me anything, 2 or 3 of the "Texans will definitely draft him if he's available" prospects will fall to 16, and we'll find out that we were looking at someone else entirely.
Agree. I think it's going to be a non sexy pick. Fans expect WR. Texans will draft Offensive Line or 2nd round type of player.

I don't like Mariota's personality or lack of experience in a pro style offense. Wouldn't trust Jameis Winston with my football team, but you know he is going to be really good. Winston will go number one overall. Whoever takes Mariota will regret it.
