People used to say Blackberry and Nokia would never be caught. The mobile game is fickle, all it takes is a flop. They don't have to catch Android to be successful, but getting to double-digit market share isn't all that hard and would be in striking distance of iOS.

Any info on the Note 5's release date? Any great reason to wait for it or just get the S6? Yes I do prefer the larger screen.

Will release in Sept or Oct. I would get the Note 4 over the S6

Windows 8 was painted similarly, and we all know what a cluster that was.

Elaborate or link me, please? Thanks in advance for the insight. I do like the look of the Note 4 hardware. But it sounds like waiting is my best bet.

Was actually interested in why you'd choose the Note over the 6.

More screen real estate, plus the almighty Spen.

I updated my phone to the latest build of Windows 10 for Mobile that was released yesterday, 10130 - and so far, so good. They've made huge improvements since last month's build, but they are clearly at least 3-4 months away from final polish.

I wouldn't expect a new Windows flagship phone until October or so. One thing is certain though, it is going to rock.

I've had it a week now and it's by far my favorite phone I've ever owned.

Granted, before that the G3 was my favorite phone.

It's not leaps and bounds ahead of the G3, but it is just a flat out well-done piece of electronics.

I got the black leather back. Highly recommended.

So far the only con is that it tends to get pretty warm very quickly.

The camera is awesome. Super HQ pics, and takes them lightning fast.

You can't go wrong with either choice.

Any good reviews you have come across for the mobile 10?

Not really, it is still extremely raw at the moment. I'm kind of bummed that they are so far behind the desktop version to be honest. However, I can clearly see the potential - I just hope they can pull it together before the holiday season, I want a new flagship!

One caveat on the Note 4 right now: If it doesn't already have Android 5.0 (Lollipop), install it at your own risk. My wife has had a lot of issues with her Note 4 since she upgraded to 5.0 (Apps crash, notification lag, battery drain) and it is a pretty widespread problem. You can install it and then factory reset it to help alleviate some of the bugs, but they are supposedly getting ready to send out an update to fix the bugs shortly.

Important to factory reset after major updates. Especially updates that change the runtime (From Dalvik to ART) which is what Lollipop did.

HTC gets no respect. I love my M9 and wouldn't go back to a Galaxy even though I loved my S3; I hate TouchWiz. And I will never do iPhone.

HTC makes extreme quality phones, no idea why Samsung gets all the Android love.
