PG more necessary Sam Dekker the better player than any of the point guards on the board. Was a projected lottery pick for at the end of March Madness, does play a lot like Parsons did before he learned to shoot. Parson was a really good cutter his rookie year that why he had so many good dunks that year.

where have y'all been since Morey has joined the Rocks? There really isn't any point in sweating this our any other Rocket pics. ther will be many trades, swindles and surprises up until the day the day the season starts. I will postpone my fretting until October.

Dekker looks like a quicker more athletic parsons and it seems he can actually dribble pretty well

If Jones not on roster, might as well count those that will be. DMo was drafted by Rockets as trade was already made. TWolves only picked player Morey told him to pick for them.

Yeah I'm not sure where you're getting your scouting reports from.

He's not a great shooter, but I'd say better than Brewer. He's a good PnR handler which is important for our offense. He posted up a few times in college, so we'll see if he continues that in the much bigger NBA. He has size and quickness which will help him defend SFs and PFs alike. He's not going to be a star in this league for sure, but he can definitely be a great role player that knocks down his shots and plays defense.

Great replacement for Brewer in my opinion.

    I like this pick.

PGs at around where Rockets picked are a riskier gamble IMO.

Better to get established guards via trade.

At 18, might as well gamble on a wing player with potential.

    Why bye Ariza?

Seems like another BPA pick and as a bonus Brewer insurance...although we would be lucky if he could contribute as much as Corey did.

Most likely spending time in the D-league long enough for the typical "Time to play Dekkar." thread.

Shoot might as well, thats how the Warriors won the finals with Steph (6'3"), Klay (6'7"), Barnes (6'8") , Iggy (6'7"), and Draymond (6'9"). Four players at forward height there.

I agree. Dekker seems like a safe pick that can contribute immediately. Guards are not easy to draft and there's proof of that. Best way to get a good guard is FA or trade.
