Every FA this offseason got overpaid if you look at it that way. Still if he brings a WS to Chicago, it'll all be worth it. So that's really all that matters.
Postseasons are the smallest sample sizes that mean the most. Thinking Killer B's still make me, smh.
White Sox get Todd Frazier from Cincinnati. Dodgers: Frankie Montas, Micah Johnson & Trayce Thompson Reds: Jose Peraza, Scott Schebler & Brandon Dixon White Sox: Todd Frazier
Smoltz is excellent, glad other people noticed. They fired the wrong guy(s). Reynolds, for all the grief he gets from some people, is a solid color guy, better than most. I've also never understood why Kyle Peterson doesn't get more exposure in MLB. He's great on college broadcasts. Yet Joe Buck is still employed, strange world we live in.

[rquoter]According to ESPN's Buster Olney, Chris Davis' new contract with the Orioles will be paid out over the next 22 years. Davis will earn $17 million annually between 2016-2022, $3.5 million a year from 2023-2032 and finally $1.4 million a year from 2033-2037. That means Davis will get his last check from the Orioles when he's 51. There won't be any interest on the deferrals. Davis is still getting his $161 million but this setup will help reduce the Orioles' payroll over the next seven years.[/rquoter]
The middle of that line up is scary... Miggy, JD Martinez, Ian Kinsler, Victor Martinez, Juston Upton..
Mets re-sign Yoenis Cespedes. (3 years, $75M $27.5M in year one with an opt out after the first year)
Good on the Mets for retaining him. That's huge for them in the tough NL. The top of the NL is so stacked.
