Made it in hyrdoplaning all the way. Praying I can make it home. At my job we pretty much have to have a cat 3 direct hit to get a stay at home day.
I made the disappointing trip to work, too. I will be watching the roads like a hawk though and if they get bad I am out of here.
This blows. I am happy that it is not bad but couldn't it have been bad enough to work from home at least? Driving back across Houston this evening is going to suck. If I get stuck here, I will go insane.
I have appointments from 11-4. Really half assing it this morning hoping I can reschedule for Friday. But Bill is being a dick.
I'm in the same boat as you guys...had to come in the office this morning but I will be keeping an eye on the radar and news. If it's going to get bad then I'm out of here. I have my MIL at the house watching my son so I don't want her to get stranded as well.
I live in this area more or less, didn't see anything, so I figured I'd work at least a half day and drove out towards Cypress (work). Didn't see much of anything. No traffic.
2pm CT http://blog.chron.com/weather/2015/...hould-you-go-to-work-this-morning/#33691101=0 Hmm, I should email my boss and show him this and tell him to let us to work from home after lunch.
It's a tropical storm not a hurricane . We were hit head on with Ike and it did less damage than the floods two weeks ago Everyone is gun shy now because of the flooding 2 weeks ago . The rain bands are not Red they are green and yellow. Houston carry on about your life today, Jesus man. So annoying.
