He does play a ton of cash card games... Clowney will never be an all time great b/c of his work ethic might reasonable to say...but to just call him lazy is just wrong. Anyone that comes from the surgery he had in order to start this year...is NOT lazy...9 months for microfracture is unreal...and to be able to play NFL level football. That just tells me the dude is built like a freak... He will never be a guy that breaks down hours of film, he wont be remotely close to JJ's mold as a player that strives for greatness... Very few are.

^^^ So scary to see him make Brown look like a statue...my goodness. Duane didnt even have a chance to put a hand on him. Also that little segment between Rick and Bill OBrien tells me everything you need to know...Clowney was their #1 guy in that 2014 draft. Their hope was to see Clowney opposite JJ and let them both create havoc.

I think it is pretty clear that Clowney is going to be a really good player. Hoping that it comes on full display this week.
I have high hopes for him as well. If he can gain about a quarter of Watt's work ethic, the two of them could be insane together. I'll be thrilled at like five weeks in and he hasn't had an injury. I just need to believe that last year was a fluke injury.
It would be a great comeback story. I hope he can do it. The expectations for the #1 overall pick are pretty crazy.
I appreciate that, and I believe it was. For some reason, I'm a jaded fan, and I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch. Someone taught me that long ago.
Believe it when I see it. Kinda tired of everyone else coming out and telling the world what a "hard worker" the kids been. Pardon my doubts after watching Mario Williams cruise on talent for so many years.
Coming back from microfracture surgery in less than a year does take hard work, that side of the game I think is fine, he is putting in the work. Yeah he has to go and produce on the field, and I think he will because he has flashed in the limited time he played last year while injured, and while he didn't have a sack on his stats, there were plays were showed his talent and speed. If he can stay healthy, and yes that's a big if, he will produce he has the talent.
It continues to baffle me that folks continue to actively root and advocate against Clowney's success. I just don't understand it. Have you not seen what this kid is capable of doing on the field when healthy?
