Assuming he won't stay healthy due to one injury is a pretty odd way of thinking. The important part is that he's shown to be one of the most disruptive defenders in the NFL. You can't just go replace that.
One injury? Pay closer attention lol. And it doesnt matter if he's JJ Watt...if he cant stay on the field, he's not worth 100+ million.
Yeah, he had one injury that held him out a long time, that's not a reason to assume he'll always be hurt. Travis Kelce missed a year too for the same reason.....do you assume he'll get hurt too?
Hernia, concussion, ankle injury, back injury...have all kept him on the sidelines. And then there was his microfracture, which was the big one. He had one major injury and a bunch of nagging injuries.
Also, his last year at South Carolina...bone spurs in his foot, muscle strain in his ribs... It's been a common theme for him to miss time here and there with random injuries.
One that kept him out of games, are we going to list all of JJ Watt's injuries as reason to expect him to stay hurt?
Ankle injury kept him out of the first game against Jax...back injury kept him out the remainder of the game in Tennessee and he only didnt miss time because we had a bye week following that game. Otherwise, he would have missed that too. But you're right...nobody should question his durability because he's only had one MAJOR injury. Also, did a foot injury not cause him to miss the last game against Jax...as well as the playoff game against the Chiefs?

Good article on Clowney and Mack: http://mmqb.si.com/mmqb/2016/09/12/khalil-mack-jadeveon-clowney-nfl-draft
I don't know if that's a fair article. If turf monster devours mack, he'd have to overcome the adversities of rehabbing the dreaded micro fracture. Coming back and playing 13 games said a lot. I'm keeping a close eye on Dante Fowler to see how he moves and performs after returning from an injured knee.
The Mack hype is real, but I'm thinking this time next year it'll be dead. Week 1 was yet another game where he was all but invisible on the field. The hype is 100% due to one fluke game where he picked up 5 sacks. Hell just 3 games accounts for 9 of his sacks the one fluke game against the Broncos, the Titans, and the Browns. Outside of those games, he didn't do much.
Interesting article though on two contrasting athletes. First game of the new season, Clowney was better. I have no doubt Mack will have a great year though. IMO Clowney was the right pick knowing what we knew at the time unless we could have gotten a haul by trading down.
The most interesting part of that article, to me, is that Clowney rarely got in the gym in college (or at least based on that one quote). It makes me hope that with the Texans staff MAKING him become more of a workout warrior (I assume they wouldn't let him slack off in that regard) that maybe his injuries will lessen as they condition his body better and better with each season.

Currently the same age now that Khalil Mack was when he entered the league but already a more dominant player. It was always only a matter of time. The level of fear KC's O line had was amazing to watch and it directly led to an ILB heading right up the middle untouched for a sack.
I thought this play was so funny... poor RB almost got decapitated...Who actually thought that giving Clowney free release into the back field was a good play... Clowney had yet another solid game. His batted pass showed great awareness...He knew which play was coming...and positioned himself in front of that screen.
John Simon's unblocked sack was specifically because the Chiefs were doubling Clowney. It was a thing of beauty because this is exactly what we've all been waiting for. JJ, Clowney and Mercilus on the field together should be a nightmare for offenses.
