Yeah, I'll rephrase. He's sucked less in pass coverage than in run coverage so far.

He's part of the reason 40 year old Gore was able to gash us up the middle. I have come to accept that Cushing is not the same guy as before, but McKinney should be a steel curtain in the middle.

He needs to be a DE in a 4-3 defense. Some DEs can convert to OLB and deal with a little coverage here and there but they just need to put Clowney on the line and let him loose.

I think he plays a good mix of on the line and off the line.

Middle Linebackers are getting THRASHED. Making everyone look bad in my opinion. Clowney doing a good job in spite of it but Linebackers outside of Clowney aren't doing squat. Wilfork clogging up 2 offensive lineman but others gotta take advantage of that. There is a reason Clowney is getting double teamed along with Watt. Zero Help

I mean, one of his guys fell on him causing a sprained ankle....he still finished the game despite the injury. It would be pretty foolish to go crazy about something like that.

This is great news. Texans in full tank mode. So who are we gonna get? Goff, Cook, Hack? I say draft all three. Probability wise, one of them has to work out as the long term starter,

Well guys, some potentially bad news.

I'm at Memorial Hermann in the med district as my girlfriend is having knee surgery. Clowney was 2 rooms down in the pre op area. Gonna be having either knee, shoulder or both surgery. That is all.

People are going to call him a bust, call him fragile, etc. I'm glad we picked him, and I hope he has a full recovery, if true. He had some very impressive spurts this year.

*in before a joke about my username and support for Clowney*

I can't remember where, but a few weeks ago I read someone say that Clowney is more like a science experiment than a football player. So true.

Clowney is a high performance machine, like a Ferrari. Goes fast, corners quickly, but anything that performs to the limits is going to spend time in a garage.

Fair enough. I literally have zero reason to make this up. But it's fine. Wasn't gonna try to get a pic of the guy while he was in pre op.

Thank God he gave that Ferrari-like performance with all those sack and TFL before he was "garaged"

Sack and TFL were typed without s's for reason
