What a major coup for Lunhow this year. No wonder the cardinals hate him. The dude is just simply, The Dude.
I'm beginning to think Luhnow is Morey is Luhnow. I imagine they have bunk beds and talk about drafts, astrophysics, and trade lord of the rings cards.
@jimcallisMLB: Supp 1st-rder Daz Cameron's bonus from @Astros will be $4 mil (slot 37 = $1,668,600). Georgia HS CF w/all-around tools, Mike's son @MLBDraft Great news.
Post #297 has been updated with signing info and savings. Patrick Sandoval will likely be the only Day 3 pitcher the Astros have a real chance of signing without losing a 1st-rounder. Probably regardless of Eshelman's bonus.
Amazing draft by Luhnow and crew. This system is looking to be stocked and set to be competitive for a long time.
Say Eshelman agreed to $1,200,000 and we will have $1MM to go after Sandoval or Sands. I'd bet we get one of them.
Man, this is awesome. An outfield of Springer, Cameron, and Tucker (little bro). A potential infield of Correa, Bregman, Altuve/Kemp, and a 1B prospect (Reed?) One of Kemp/Altuve can be a DH. I can live with the potential of this lineup.
