True that Lin might be better for many teams as the 6th man, because he can be **** at times. But the stats shown above, 23w-10L 20ppg 48-46-80, as a #1 or #2 option over three different teams, should still warrant another chance at a starting gig, at least that should understandably be on Lin's mind. He hasn't failed yet when given opportunity as a primary or secondary option, even though most observers might judge him on his bad days with limited mins to redeem bad starts. It seems he's such a rhythm player, and he'd raise his game whenever he feels he has a load to carry. So for the guy personally, sixth man is probably not a suitable role, because he definitely performs better with starter minutes, making his team win too. That's why linsanity was very intriguing. He still does display this quality when he gets the start and the responsibly. I'd like to see him at least fail as a permanent starter with a losing record before claiming he'd be a good stat bad team guy, since his history so far indicates the opposite.
Lin back at $2mill per year? ok Linfans return? HELL NO. He was uh, very good for Charlotte, they should, uh, keep him forever?
I think his market value will probably be 6-8 million with cap increase. Some (not all) of his fans do suck but I can assure you organizations don't give a **** about that, what they care about is getting a quality role player on a fair deal, they also care a lot about the money he brings in through ticket sales/merchandise/cabel views etc. Tinman can have as many heart attacks as he wants, it won't affect the Rockets position on signing him or not. But I agree, while I wouldn't mind him back, I think he will either re-sign with Charlotte or go whever gives him the most $ (hopefully not us). Although him knowing the organization, and his admiration for Mike D'Antoni makes it a possibility, I remeber Lin spoke very highly of him in interviews. I also remember Cyberx saying the Rockets where actually looking at bringing Lin back last off season too, so again, who knows.
Anyone see this video of Lin getting owned by a 14 years old Iceland kid? LOL. Lin was bricking shots against a 14 years old. Pat bev would have owned that 14 years old
Found the vid from ESPN after reading your post. Cool story. http://icelandmag.visir.is/article/...etball-game-his-back-yard-nba-star-jeremy-lin The view from that backyard is simply fantastic.
You guys were so mean that Jeremy Lin went all the way to freaking Iceland to find a new career. I'm kidding guys http://icelandmag.visir.is/article/...etball-game-his-back-yard-nba-star-jeremy-lin
I know you're just trolling, but to remind others, Bev bricked more shots against a 12-year old girl that he tried against. Lin was going super easy and having fun with a young fan. Kid is lucky to have that house. Great view and a really nice half court.
http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/15664854/jeremy-lin-takes-fan-game-1-1-trip-iceland He is one top players for his age in the country not just some random kid. If it was Bev he would have tried to play him hard. It was just meant for fun. Lin ain't trying to be a dick.
