Nooooooo, the other thread hasn't reached 10k replies yet. And wtf was he thinking lol, Charlotte also wasn't even one of the teams that was reported pursuing him.
No. This is completely incorrect. Lin is NOT going to Charlotte to backup Kemba Walker. He is going to Charlotte to backup Brian Roberts (who is paid more than Lin)
I meant to say that Brian Roberts is the backup to Walker, and Lin will be his backup (you know what I meant)
On a more serious note, WTF is Lin thinking? He made 25 mils already, whose is helping him to make such dumb f**k decision to go the worst team for his style of play as a 3 stringer while having a contract like this? Too bad this was happened during the DJ drama, otherwise this could be a joke of the NBA.
Good move. He Morey'd everyone and went to a team nobody expected. He went to the team that would allow him to play his game, and not have to play to his weaknesses. His next contract will be in the double digits per year.
Idiot Lin fans don't know that the idol they live their lives through is now being recognized as a scrub in the NBA
Show some gratitude, fella. I imagine many of those rep bars came courtesy of Lin fans in the Fire McHale thread
He wanted playing time, and the hornets are really weak in the backcourt. I wonder how much time he will be spending at SG... I'd be guessing the 2nd year as a player option, so he can opt out if he does well.

Managing editor at sbnation for Hornets already has a pinned tweet up from an aggressive JLin fan. That was quick.
Yeah, what are you going to do about it? Is there a problem w/ Asians hiring Asians? I swear..some of the idiots on this forum.
Lin is a good man. Declined multiple 10M/year offers and decided to take a pay cut for more playing time. Good for him we all know he deserves at least 10 million per year.
Wonder how much is guaranteed and if the 2nd year is player-optional. If he has a good season, he can opt out and get a richer contract.
