Looks like I'll have to change the signature I've had since 2003 after Bild made fun of us when we missed the World Cup in 2002! We're down 2-0 against Turkey and it's half-time, taking us down to 4th spot. Once again I'll have to research my bloodline just to make sure I'm not actually German (joking!). Really disappointing. It's going to be difficult/weird not having us there in France next year. Just crazy how far we've fallen since the World Cup - though deep down we always knew it wasn't really a true reflection of our qualities, more a combination of loads of luck, Robben, and LVG.

Yes it does. It also says that we always honor the King of spain... it is a terrible anthem.. Wow This is one of the worst times in dutch soccer history.. atleast that I was alive.. I also do not see young talent that I think van turn the tide in a couple of years
Yeah it's not the best anthem around but hey, it's ours. I disagree about the young talent. I think the mid-20s crew is a bit rubbish, particularly up front, but I think the guys in their late teens/early 20s show some promise. Ajax has a few nice talents and if the Feyenoord guys get things back (Boetius, Vilhena) I think they can be good players. Having said that, I don't think we'll make the World Cup. If Blind sticks around, I'll stop watching our team till 2020 (not really, but you get the point).
De Gea signs a new contract. I don't know for how long but I am glad we stood up to Madrid and their silly ways of getting into players heads
