i just looked at their stats. i have not watched much of either player.

but the d russell has less TO's and shoots higher across the board than mudiay. i'm confused on how it's so transparent that the lakers messed up already?

    Towns, Wow!

He's also shooting over 90% FTs.

    That recognition of space...it's Hakeem-esque.

    is right

That was a 15 MB file. Why people render their vid captures to GIFs versus streaming video, I will never understand.

Maybe its because Mudiay, Okafor, Porzingis hell even Hezonja or Winslow show signs of having a star factor, as they get older you can expect them to capitalize on those. Russell was supposed to be instant impact esp. compared to Mudiay who had higher upside but supposed to be rawer. He reminds me of that dude taken after Anthony Davis, just seems mediocre all around.

I could be wrong though, for example Harden was also underwhelming his first 3 years and got buried i n the bench as a result. We'll see.

Harden was All-Rookie 2nd team in 2010 and 6th Man of the Year in 2012.

Serious question: Are you the guy I debated 4-5 years ago about Harden being a bust his first 2 years? "Buried on the bench"? LOL!!!

    Can somebody do a search?

haha. Debate was after his rookie year, in an OKC missed on Tyreke Evans thread. But from that last doozy roslolian just posted, I'm sure the argument would've have continued after his 2nd yr, too.

    cheers

This looks like a great rookie year. I am curious to see who will win ROY I think that at the end of the year Towns, Okafor and Porzingis all will have a strong case. So far Towns would be my pick.

I do have to say I am loving th fasct that the top 4 pick and Mudiay all look like future stars except for the Lakers Pick:grin:.

Unfortunatly the Knicks drafted Porzingis, which means I am going to have to watch some Kicks games...

He looks good. So far it looks like I was wrong about both him and Porzingis.

    Thank you for that sir.

"Harden was also underwhelming his first 3 years and got buried in the bench". What a Froot Loop posting this in 2015.

Notice he didn't reply to my question.

Yep that was me, I have been wrong on several players like Harden or Cousins I thought both guys were gonna be busts.

I didnt reply to your question because I only saw it now, you will notice this is my first post on this thread. I'm not sure though why being wrong on my assessmemt on their first years makes me a fruit loop, apparently you never make mistakes and thus should apply for Morey's job

Apparently scoring 9 pts for 40% FG with no D warrants a top 3 pick and 2nd all nba rookie honors and is thus impressive in your book...

LOL, you're just a sore loser. That's why you can't admit being wrong without being a smart aleck.

Besides, we discussed it several times, as late as Harden's second year when it was clear he wasn't a bust. Remember, you said he was the same player as Thabo because (at the time) their PPG and RPG were similar. It was so obvious you never watched them and had no clue at all.

The reason I called you a Froot Loop is you just said Harden "underwhelmed" and was "buried on the bench" his first 3 years. Dumb statement.
