Davis has an impact that is documented by +/-, his team goes into lottery tank mode when he sits down and becomes playoff bound in the West when he plays. We'll see how KaT grows but right now AD is the King.

This might be the best class since 03 or maybe 09?

KAT - Looks like franchise player
Okafor - Looks very good on offense, maybe franchise player
    Mudiay - Looks pretty good
    Winslow - Looks good

Better class than last years with Wiggins and Parker?

ylYes, KAT is also a bigger prospect than those two. More potential contributors and depth this year.

Last years class had its top talent stolen from injuries.

I didnt watch wcs but towns is so impressive.but remember both nuggets and lakers are two of the worst interior defensive teams. ( and headed to the high lottery).

You have Porzingis and don't even mention Cousins? Wow.

Still have Okafor as my favorite for a bust player. Even though he had a great season opener, his last game wasn't all that great. Also, Prozingis is high on my list for bust potential as well.

All Minnesota needs now is a Popovich-like coach and they will be contenders for a long time. I sure hope they don't waste KAT's career like Pelicans have with Davis.

I don't think you can say someone's career has been wasted when dude is only 22.

Losing creates bad habits, if he had been winning since his he was a rookie, his development as a player would have been that much better.

Cousins is a center and he's already several years older than AD, KaT and Porzingis. I was drawing a parallel to those three with TD, Dirk and KG so if you wanna include Cousins he'd be like the Shaq of this era.

You are crazy. And the craziness lies on the fact that Davis can guard also in the perimeter but Towns hasn't demonstrated to do so in the NBA.-at least as far I have seen in preseason and one game in RS I watched.
You can put Davis on some possesions on Curry and not have the mountains laugh. Can't do the same with KAT.

That's the way the modern NBA goes right now and that's why Davis is much more of a prospect.
Besides we haven't watched much of KAT to see him get scouted as the focal point of a teams offence and his weaknesses exposed. (plus worth mentioning again Both LAL and Denver have some of the worse frontcourts in the west).

One thing is for sure. The way things go KAT is Minny's no.1 franchise player. He shows heart, amazing talent and versatility whereas Wiggins all the games I have watched he's nowhere to be found. He scores but his influence on the game is not obvious. He's like absent.

    6/11 vs Whiteside
    and esp 8/11 vs Mirotic/Gasol/Noah
will be worth keeping an eye on.

And I'm a biiiiig fan of KAT. I'm floored by what I have seen so far from him. He's clearly on his way to be a superstar in this league.

I watched two games of Porzingis (actually 1 1.5 because in the last one I fell asleep). I don't know. He has moves he's clearly polished offensively but he's so tall..If he puts more weight as he should can he remain mobile? You can't imagine how much tall this guy is. Most of the time I was worried he would break in half and fall over.
I think he should be a center in the future.

Depends on what someone means as a bust. Not becoming a superstar or a star at no.3 is a bust? Because he clearly in my eyes will have a long carreer injury baring in this league only based on his offensive game. Is a younger slightly better Al Jefferson with passing a bust? I dont' think so.

I'm still bitter that the Towns and Russell went to western conference teams. I think both will be real good. meanwhile the eastern conference still sucks.

Give me old school vs new school. Traditional big men will rule again. They just havent lately because no one has had the skills KAT has.

I didn't expect him to be this good in the NBA with his low post game. However his game against Utah wasn't great. You might be right though.
